Dear Editor,
The Sgt Dennis James Flanagan
Foundation is grateful for the community
response to the Inaugural Sports/Celebrity
Dinner Dance and Inaugural Golf Tournament.
Both events were well attended thanks
to the Chronicle efforts to help us get
the word out to the community. Bill Hartley
and Brian Donovan are to be commended
for their successful efforts to get teachers
and alumnus of Lecanto High School to
attend the events. Thanks are extended
to them and their wives.
We thank the board of the Key Training
Center for allowing us to use the Chester
V Cole Life Enrichment Center for the
first event. Charlie Robertson and Melissa
Walker , we thank you for your assistance.
Special thanks to Mr. Vito Porta for donating
many items from his personal collection.
